When I try to create a new style (I haven’t been able to create one yet), the only field I see is “Name”–no other options. If I hit Enter after typing in a name, a totally blank page loads with the address ending in “…new-style=true&update_style=[entered style name]” It looks like it’s trying to work, but no good. Not sure if it matters, but I tried IE8 and Firefox 3.5.8–same results on both.

A possibly related observation: When uploading fonts, I don’t get a preview, and the red “x” for deleting a font is barely visible (overlapped by the next row containing the next font). If there’s anything else on the line with the red “x” or below it, it’s obscured by subsequent fonts.

Any ideas? I can send screenshots. Thanks.

Are you using Firefox on a Mac by any chance? if so, there appears to be a problem at the moment where the images will not show up on your site. Although someone else who also had this problem recently, told me today that it worked perfectly after they had removed Firefox completely and did a manual reinstall.

Unfortunately I don’t have the privilege of owning a mac myself so unless some kind soul is willing to sponsor one for me to test this stuff, (I can dream cant I?) I cant really assist much when issues like this pop up.

Great job with this new plugin, loving it!!!

I’ve uploaded Georgia font, created a 22-font-size style and have selected this style all across pages, titles and so forth in the Settings page. I’ve saved these settings but when I refresh my web page, default font doesn’t change

I’ve tried the same process with Verdana but still to no avail. How do I make that work??

Both the bugs you mentioned have been fixed in version 0.8.0 which I have already uploaded to wordpress.org and will be available just as soon as their update system realises the plugin has been updated(it seems to be lagging a bit tonight).

The way it works is like this, in your theme files, find the bit of code which makes up the menu on your site(most likely in header.php somewhere), then right before the menu code put “$dont_replace_title = true;”. Then after the menu code you can put “$dont_replace_title = false;”. The variable basically prevents AnyFont from replacing any titles while it returns true.

When using the gd module the plugin is not quite calculating the total image height correctly on multi-line images – it slices off progressively more of the bottom of the image when additional lines of text are displayed.

When I use the image magic module the line heights are displayed correctly (and the images look a little sharper) but all special characters like apostrophes and commas are displayed as … codes instead of the graphical character.

Any thoughts on either of these issues? I only need to solve one of them to have a very happy client.

However, the plugin just threw an error when validating XHTML 1.0 Strict.

It was an easy fix,
I just had to add alt=”something” in the widget title images section ~line 367 in your anyfont/anyfont.php file.

Awesome plugin, love it. I’m having one problem, though. I’m using the Thematic theme, and I find that the page menu at the top is not working right, even though I have AnyFont set to only replace post titles, not page titles.

The blog has four pages defined for the menu (Home and three additional pages). On the blog’s front (index) page, all four menu items display in their appropriate native (non-substituted) font, and AnyFont appropriately replaces each of the post titles. This is the way it should work.

But if you then click on an individual post, the page menu at the top of the post page changes. AnyFont is somehow replacing the menu headings for the three additional pages — but the Home page menu item remains in its proper native font.

You can see it at if that helps. Just click on one of the posts to see the menu change. Any thoughts on why it might be doing that?

Unfortunately the widget title replacements do not work if the widget title is a link. I don’t have a solution for this at the moment, but know that I am working on the problem.

No matter though, I use anyfont on all my websites now. Great job!

I’m using 0.7.3 and encountering a conflict with the “Twitter for Wordpress” Widget when using anyfont on widget titles.
