Ah nice one bro, I look forward to seeing the update, because we'd really like to use it on one of our popular websites.

Shot for adding the subscribe, now I don't need to keep popping in here, awesome!

Hi Chris,

I am working on a couple of exciting new methods of rendering the fonts, which are completely independent of the php version that is running on the server. Just trying to decide how best to implement them at the moment, but I am hoping to get something released soon, so keep an eye out for the update!

Hi Jonathan,

I just thought of something, are you perhaps trying to upload directly from your Windows font folder? If you are, try copying the font to another folder first and upload from there. Windows doesn't allow uploads directly from the system font folder.

Ryan:

I 777d the folders without any luck. Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you for your advice and prompt reply.

Hi Ryan, that was my guess, darn it - We're running PHP Version 4.4.4-8! Is there no way you can work around that, I would imagine that most shared hosting servers would still be running PHP4?

This is such a great plugin and we searched for a while to find this exact solution - I even wrote stand-alone code to try and do it, but had problems with session headers and couldn't resolve them :/

Hey Chris,

Server requirements are PHP5 with the Imagick module installed, it looks like your server is running PHP4 though from that error message.

Hi Jonathan,

Check that the directorys "fonts" and "cache" are writable (CHMOD 0777) by the webserver and then try upload a font again.

Hi. I am interested in trying your plugin out but cannot get it to upload a font. The message says that it is uploading, but does not get beyond that. I am running WP 2.7.1. I attempted the upload with the default theme. Thanks.
